The Polti UK team participated at the Exclusively show on June 11th & 12th, the UK’s premier showcase of housewares, tableware and small appliances, with over 300 other brands.
The team has spent their days talking to buyers from Amazon, AO, Argos, Blue Diamond, Boots, B&Q, Currys, Dobbies, Dunelm, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, Homebase, John Lewis, Lakeland, Sainsbury’s, Selfridges, Tesco, and Robert Dyas. The Polti UK team made a significant presence at both the brand showcase and at their stand, EH426.
Exclusively Show Highlights: Day 1
There were some great demonstrations from Bev Hare with help from Lynsey Queen of Clean, who showcased the Polti La Vaporella XM84C steam iron, and answered questions about Polti’s steam cleaning and ironing products.
We had our amazing Polti expert Frenchy engaging attendees with his steam makes you feel good spinning wheel activity, where participants had the chance to win various prizes including: a Polti mug, a Polti Kometa bottle, a Polti 40th anniversary bag, and a Polti bandana.
The stand attracted several notable steam cleaning and ironing influencers including David Solomon and Miss Shopper; Frenchy and Lynsey Queen of Clean announced a special giveaway of the Polti La Vaporella XM84C Steam Generator Iron to celebrate Polti’s presence at Exclusively. We had two new products launch at the show: the Polti Vaporetto Smart 110 Eco and the Polti Vaporetto Pro 8X Eco Plus.
Polti demonstrated live at the Exclusively Show how the Polti Vaporella Steam Generator Irons including the Polti La Vaporella XM84C are reliable, powerful and smart. The Polti Vaporetto Steam Cleaners were also demonstrated to show how they provide an effective solution for cleaning the whole home without detergents or chemicals in a quick and easy way: effective, powerful and fast. The Polti Vaporetto Smart 110 Eco was particularly well-received, earning the ‘On Trend Award’ for the Online Lime trend.
The team ended the first day by hosting the Prosecco with Polti event at the stand where they served prosecco and panettone and got people talking about all the ways steam makes you feel good. We had Lynsey Queen of Clean and Frenchy chat to people and invited everyone from the brand showcase to come and have a look at the stand.
Exclusively Show Highlights: Day 2
On day two at Exclusively, Beverely Martin, represented Polti at the press event hosted by Exclusively, where she spoke extensively about Polti and all its steam cleaning and ironing innovations and products.
Many of the journalists were unfamiliar with the Polti brand and the benefits of steam cleaning but after Beverely’s introduction of the Polti brand and demonstration of the Polti La Vaporella XM84C they were eager to receive press releases to hear more about Polti’s variety of steam cleaning and ironing products.
Polti products can also now be found featuring in Progressive Electrical and Progressive housewares the two magazines connected to the Exclusively show.
Final Thoughts
The Polti UK team had a great time at the Exclusively show and think it was a great success, they cannot wait to come back next year to show even more people how steam can make them feel good.
